They definitely softened up Big Nose Kate didn"t they. Wowza. I just realized that the conflict between Micah Bell and Arthur Morgan, especially later in the game, was modeled after the animosity between Johnny Ringo and Doc Holliday. It seems to me that most of the details for their respective scenario are similar, if not the same, but in a different context. Micah and Ringos similarities are shown with their arrogance and formidable gun fighting skills. A difference I see between the two characters is that Ringo possessed an intellect that was otherwise unseen in the West among bandits and outlaws. Micah on the other hand wasnt generally seen as a smart member of the gang but his deceitfulness put him at an advantage comparable to Ringos intelligence. The other side sees an ill Doc Holliday and Arthur Morgan who coincidently share the same disease. Both of their stories end with their biggest rivals in healthy condition lose to a sub-par Doc and Arthur. (I wrote this on my phone so I couldnt type much more and typos are harder to spot.

Doc Holiday is my favorite character in the whole film. His character is a metaphor for what happens to a man when hes not afraid of death (b/c hes slowly dying from tuberculosis) is educated, charming yet knows when to huckle-buckle down when he needs to or cut loose and have fun! A well-balanced character.

Doc was a savage he wanted all the smoke! ????. Docs diagnosis. Oh he ded ??. I just adored Tombstone. Still one of my fave films. Every actor hit their top. Two connections between two of my favorite films, Tombstone and Apollo 13: Bill Paxton was in both films; and like all the comments about Val Kilmer should have won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance, it is widely held that Ed Harris should have won the same Oscar for his role as Gene Krantz in Apollo 13.

Val Kilmers performance in this movie is so intense he scares me. What a talented man he is. Val Kilmer was the most memorable part from this most. I remember all his scenes in this movie. awardforval. A whole new level of respect for Kurt. always felt this was Kilmer"s best role. Oh my god...
